ARGUS/GIS Technician
ARGUS/GIS technician needed to work with scientific and collections staff to maintain natural history collections database and assist in the application of GIS to scientific research. Send letter of applicaion, resume, salary requirements, and list of references.

Development Assistant
Detail-oriented, accurate, self-starter needed to support busy Development Division office. Manages gift processing, financial statements, office systems. Assists with donor events, recognition, renewals, mailings, and seminars. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize mandatory. H.S. education, administrative experience, interest in nonprofit environment required.

Administrative Assistant - Accounting
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, work well in a team setting and be detail-oriented. Must be able to function independently, manage a multifaceted workload, be flexible and meet deadlines. Organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to prioritize are critical. Spreadsheet, word processing, PowerPoint, electronic scheduling, and database application skills are required. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing reports, presentation, and meeting minutes, maintaining filing systems, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, performing time keeping functions, general correspondence, and handling phone calls. Must have three to five years experience as administrative assistant with finance or accounting preferred. Please send resume, salary history, and references.

Anthropology Department Head
Seeking applicants for the position of curator for Museum's Anthropology Department and department chair of Anthropology. The individual would also serve as the NAGPRA representative for the Museum. Individuals with expertise in archaeology, ethnology, and/or physical anthropology who use collections in their research are encouraged to apply. Individuals who have a strong desire to interface with the public about their research as well as to involve amateurs and students in it are preferred. Ph.D. in anthropology or an allied field required. Experience in planning and budgeting, administration, and leadership should be demonstrated. Competitive salary and benefits. Theater Programs Manager

Responsible for operations of the IMAX Theater and Planetarium, as well as audio visual services for entire museum. Seeking a creative, innovative minded person to blend education, theater media, and scientific information. Bachelor's in science, engineering, education, astronomy, business administration or equivalent. Three years management experience a must. Leadership, budgeting and planning knowledge, and ability to manage projects are necessary.

Earth and/or Planetary Scientist
Participate in the development of a major exhibition and education program in space science. Be willing to engage Museum audiences in earth and space science projects and be an effective communicator with the public. Ph.D. and research experience required. Job duration is three years.
