Coral Reef Adventure
March 5–December 2004

Bright, gushing corals sway in the current. Sea turtles glide lazily through deep blue waters. And spiraling schools of fish shimmer like a mirage.

Color-drenched and vivid, these images swim across the screen, windows to a world that is rapidly disappearing.

Coral Reef Adventure, a film by the people who brought you Everest, looks at the delicate nature of the planet's reefs, and examines why many of them are dying. Stunning underwater photography from faraway places like Fiji, Tahiti, and Australia's Great Barrier Reef immerses you in a fragile and exotic world.

Produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films, narrated by Liam Neeson, and featuring a tropical blend of Crosby, Stills, & Nash, Coral Reef Adventure was the top-grossing documentary of 2003.
