Laysan Island is covered with birds, including the brown booby, yellow-eyed penguin, brown noddy, and other terns.

There are several inhabitants that bear the name of their location – the now extinct Laysan millerbird, the Laysan duck, and the Laysan albatross were common sights on this tropical island.

On Campbell Island, the royal albatross, rockhopper penguin, and the fiordland penguin share their home with herds of southern elephant seals.

With a visit to this tropical area, you can take in a wealth of sights and sounds.
