Planning a trip to the Bering Strait, the rough Atlantic coastline of Quebec, or the cliffs of northwest Alaska? How about a voyage to the past aboard a time machine?

If these out-of-the-way excursions don't fit your vacation schedule, you can still experience them here, where rarely seen birds—and even a few now-extinct birds—can easily be found. Seagoing puffins, gannets, and auks; vanished passenger pigeons and Carolina parakeets; and enormous California condors and whooping cranes are displayed among eight unique exhibits.
