Cedarosaurus: One of the newest named dinosaurs from the Cedar Mountain Formation is the brachiosaurid Cedarosaurus
weiskopfae. The name means "(Carol) Weiskopf's Cedar (Mountain) reptile." The specimen used to name
this sauropod is shown here, along with two volunteers, Bill Brooks (left) and Virginia Tidwell (right). Cedarosaurus
has characteristic tall front legs, which give it a look similar to a giraffe.
