The Cedar Mountain Dinosaur Project crew spent their day exploring
Utah in temperatures reaching 100 degrees and above. The group
completed excavation of half of the Gastonia specimen,
preparing it for transport back to the Museum.
Another group of volunteers worked on several individual skeletons
at another nearby dig, while a third continued its surveying for
other possible sites near Arches National Monument in the eastern
part of the state.
The forecast for Wednesday was cloudy with precipitation, so the
DMNS crew will need to evaluate what work can be done if it does
rain.
