Botswana Introduction

On the Okavango Delta, creatures big and small share the land – from dung beetles to the crocodile, these species roam the area while antelopes and zebras graze nearby. At the Savuti water hole, baboons and warthogs spend their day near the cool water.

Heading into the Goha Hills, the lion is king of this "jungle" – but he can live in harmony with the yellow-billed hornbill nearby. In the heat of the Kalahari Desert, red hartebeests roam the dry land looking for what food they can find.

Botswana is truly one of Africa's more colorful countries.
