Cycad Seedlings

One of the most spectacular finds at the Castle Rock Rainforest site was this cycad seedling. When it was first found, it was only partly visible, so museum preparator Bryan Small painstakingly removed one grain of sand at a time with a needle to reveal the whole fossil. |
