Internships

Internships at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science allow high school and college students to gain hands-on experience in scientific research, collections and archives, behind-the-scenes in our various administrative departments, and out in the community. These programs are valuable stepping stones toward careers in the natural sciences.


  • 2013 Teen Science Scholars

    As a Teen Science Scholar, you will collaborate with professional scientists in the field and in the lab at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

  • Native American Science Internship

    This internship is offered by the Department of Anthropology to currently enrolled, undergraduate or graduate-level students of Native American descent.

  • CBSA Internship Program

    The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is hosting a summer internship position in their Health Sciences’ molecular biology lab, collaborating with Dr. Nicole Garneau, curator of human health. The selected candidate will be given an independent project studying how genetics affect an individual’s taste to complete.
